WHEY PROTEIN has a higher concentration of glycomacropeptides (28%) than other products on the market. Glycomacropeptides (GMP) contain high concentrations of BCAA, in addition to the branched-chain amino acids found in whey proteins. GMP take effect on the gastric secretion and release of the hormone CCK (cholecystokinin), increasing the sense of satiety, making the product suitable in association with a low-calorie or metabolic diet. In particular, the amino acid complex includes a precious source of cysteine (2.4%), which increases the body’s synthesis of glutathione (GSH). This can improve the athlete’s capacity for resistance because the stress of physical exercise raises the body’s consumption of GSH.
